Happy Resurrection Day!!
When I was dating my husband (back in High School), I would receive a phone call SUPER EARLY on Easter Morning and it was James SCREAMING into the phone…..”HE IS RISEN!!!!!!” You would have thought a fire alarm was sounding all over the country and he wanted to make sure I knew it (since I was a few neighborhoods away). But he always wanted me to answer back with the same fervor saying, “He is Risen Indeed!”
As the years passed, this became a family tradition and one year, when my younger sister was in college I called her SCREAMING with the same excitement “HE IS RISEN!!!” And she would answer with equivalent enthusiasm, “HE IS RISEN INDEED!!!”
Today, as you celebrate our RISEN Savior, may the significance of this day challenge us all to abide in Him daily!
Shout it from the rooftops!!! He is Risen! He is Risen INDEED!!
He is not here, he has risen just like he said. Matt 28:6
