We are constantly discussing the differences in coupons and coupon inserts regionally. Sunday’s (7/29) Newspaper Inserts confused things even more!

All areas {should have} received FOUR Coupon Inserts (One SmartSource, Two RedPlums and One Proctor & Gamble) Then, in addition to those four coupon inserts some regions received a Target P&G Flyer! The Orlando Sentinel area received the Target Flyer, the Tampa Bay Area newspapers did not (the Tampa Bay Times and Tampa Tribune)

Here is a photo of the TWO RedPlum Inserts I received today  (there could be different covers on them outside of the Tampa Bay FL Area Region):

A common question we get is: How do I tell the difference between the Two Inserts?

We list them on the weekly shopping lists as the “RP 07/29/12” and the “RP 07/29/12 #2”, but which one is actually which?

Look on the “Spine”! On the spine of the insert (where you would find the title of a book) you will find the name of all the newspapers where that coupon insert was distributed. At the very end of the list of Newspapers, right near the date you will find a little “-1” or a “-2” indicating which insert is which. In this case, the Insert with “Recharge Your Routine” with the little girl brushing her hair on the front is “RP 07/29/12”. The Insert with “Skinny Cow” Candy Bars on the front is “RP 07/29/12 #2”.

It’s easy once you know the trick right?

The Target Coupons inside the RP #2 (with the Skinny Cow Candy on the front) Look like this:
