I have two children who have summer birthdays so I always feel like they get “gipped” from celebrating with friends. And you might remember at Christmastime we had a FREE Phone Call from Santa, well this one is even better… it’s from a Nickelodeon Character. Star Wars Fans get your lightsabers ready because this Thursday is Star Wars Day which is also known as “May the FOURTH Be With You” and there are lots of Star Wars events that happen all over the area and mostly you will see deep discounts on Star Wars products, Amazon typically has a great sale as well as video game stores. One event you may want to camp out for is a Make & Take event happening at Toys R Us on Saturday, May 6th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. because you’ll be able to build a Mini LEGO Princess Leia plus, they’ll be giving out a collector’s poster also.
FREE Comic Book Day
Then this coming Saturday May 6th is a day comic book readers LOVE! You’ll want to visit your favorite comic book store (OR BOOKS A MILLION this year) this coming Saturday because 50 different comic books are given out to everyone on that day. Last year my kids got classic comics such as Scooby Do, Smurfs and Guardians of the Galaxy. Each title that is available for FREE is listed on FreeComicBookDay.com.
Teacher Appreciation Week is Coming
Even though Teacher Appreciation WEEK is officially NEXT Week, there are a few FREEbies I want to make sure you don’t miss because they are happening before hand, during this week.
