- Generously sprinkle grass seed on top of dirt and spritz with water from a spray bottle. (Make sure to keep it moist by spritzing several times a day.)
- Create 3 crosses using sticks and string and display in the grassy area.
- Keep in a sunny place, seeds should sprout within about 7 days so you’ll want to plan ahead a little to have it green for Easter Day!
Then, on Good Friday, put a little LEGO Jesus inside the “tomb” and move the big rock to seal the tomb. (Set an alarm that as soon as the kids fall asleep, take Jesus out of the tomb and hide him.)
On Easter Sunday have your kids slide the big rock out and notice Jesus is not there!
The Tomb is EMPTY! He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
Bible Verses To Display With Your Easter Garden:
2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! ~ Luke 24:2-6a
