Ingredients & Supplies:

  • 1/2 Cup 70% Rubbing Alcohol (or Witch hazel if you’d prefer)
  • 1 1/2 Cup Distilled or Reverse Osmosis Water
  • 12 Drops Specific Essential Oils for Colds and Flu (I use the Young Living brand because of their purity promise)

Some good essential oil choices for this cold and flu room spray are Eucalyptus, Tea Tree (Melaleuca), Cinnamon or Lavender or a mixture of oils from Young Living, called “Thieves.”

For this DIY essential oil spray recipes I used 4 drops Eucalyptus, 4 drops Lavender and 4 drops Thieves.

Directions:

In a spray bottle, add the 1/2 cup Alcohol, then essentials oils followed by the 1 1/2 cup water.

It will cloud up and that’s how you know it’s all combined together for this cold and flu room spray.

The cloudiness does not go away because the mixture stays combined. I don’t usually need to shake it before each use, but it won’t hurt anything if you do.

Then, take this DIY cold and flu spray and spray it everywhere! In every room, the car, wherever the sick people have been.
