The parent company of RedPlum, Vlassis, bought the digital coupon-code giant, RetailMeNot. They have changed the name of the RedPlum Coupon Insert to RetailMeNot Everyday. Sunday 3/25/18 was the first day we saw the RetailMeNot Coupon Insert.
The good news is that the coupon insert is not going away entirely (if you receive it each week in your newspaper on Sunday or mailbox the following Tuesday or Wednesday), it is just getting a makeover with a new name and look.
It is the same coupon insert as before, just a new name.
RetailMeNot is one of the best-known coupon code websites, while RedPlum is not necessarily known by anyone outside of the coupon world.
So I would guess that this rebranding is a hope to leverage the better-known name of RetailMeNot and bringing the different savings platforms under one single banner.

I’m working to replace all the verbiage everywhere on my website to reflect the new name RetailMeNot. So the RP will now be RMN (that’s just so odd looking to me!).
