Feed the Bay is the name of a local Tampa Bay Area outreach opportunity for the community and church to come together and fill local food pantries that serve families in the Tampa Bay FL Area.
Their goal is to collect 190,000 pounds of food for the pantries by reaching out to the local community as well as partnering with over 30 churches in the area.
What if I don’t live in the Tampa Bay Area?
Please use this same time to collect items to donate to a local organization in your local area.
There are SO many places in need, it should not be hard to find a local place to donate the items we identify on our store lists.
How To Find Inexpensive Items to Donate
Using the True Couponing shopping method, you can pick up many items to donate at a reduced price.
During the month of April, look for the heart-circled True Couponing Deal Button 
and True Couponing Shopping Cart 
images next to items that are great donation item deals.
The heart images identify which Donation Items are at the stock up price to make it easier to give.
You’ll find these images on each of our Store Lists.
Since Publix is a Feed The Bay Partner, we obviously suggest looking at the current deals happening at Publix.

How does Feed The Bay work?
1. On Sunday, April 15, participating churches will hand out a Feed-The-Bay grocery list and encourage everyone to leave directly after church and shop at Publix Supermarkets or other stores closest to their home between the hours of 9am – 2pm to help those in need in our community.
2. After shopping, volunteers are standing buy for you to easily drop off your purchases at trucks located in each of the parking lots of participating Publix stores.
Most Publix stores are located in Hillsborough County (if you don’t see a drop off location near you, please check the Feeding America donation locations and drop off items to a location closest to you).
Don’t Wait!
Donating to the Food Pantries doesn’t have to wait until April 15th. You can start collecting donation items RIGHT NOW (when you see a deal!) instead of shopping on April 15th, and then simply take your donations to the drop off trucks at the supermarkets on Sunday, April 15th before 2pm.
