Candy Cane Centerpiece Instructions:

Step 1:

To make this candy cane centerpiece, start by applying the double stick mounting squares across the entire top of the vase all the way around. Be sure to find the spot where the candy cane will sit nicely against the vase.

You may need to cut them in half if you can only find the squares.

Step 2:

Once you have applied the foam mounting squares all across the vase, remove the stickers to expose the sticky tape.

Start placing your candy canes into the foam tape one-by-one pressing firmly for a few seconds to get them to hold.

Aren’t you surprised at how easy this candy cane DIY craft is? And this candy cane centerpiece looks so pretty too!

Try to keep your candy canes as close as possible together and make sure they’re all lined up straight.

Also make sure that the bottom of the candy cane doesn’t go below the bottom of the vase so it sits flat.

Step 3:

Once the vase was filled around with the candy canes, we added a Christmas bow across the base of the vase. We tied a pretty bow to help hold the Candy Canes in place.

The bow is optional but we think it really made the centerpiece pop! You can easily switch the bow out at any time.

You could use burlap ribbon, twine, mesh ribbon or anything you already have around that matches and looks great.

During the holidays, the dollar store should have some ribbon so you won’t have to spend a lot to make this candy cane decor craft!

Like fresh roses for a really pretty gift! Or make an arrangement out of fake flowers, ornaments and flower picks. Even some fresh greenery from the Christmas tree yard would look wonderful in your candy cane decor craft.

We filled the centers of our candy cane DIY craft with mini candy canes and peppermint bark candies which were also purchased from the Dollar Tree.
