Cranberry Tea Cookies
These Cranberry Tea Cookies are a little sophisticated little cookie that pares perfectly with tea or coffee.
Notice the pecans and the Craisins…yum!
All the ingredients can be mixed in one bowl. Love that.
This rolling technique is the easiest way to make uniform size cookies.
Be sure to chill the rolls for a couple of hours so you can cut them without squishing them.
Roll the edges of the Cranberry Tea Cookies in sugar before placing them on the baking sheet.

These little cookies are the pare perfectly with hot tea or coffee.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks salted butter at room temperature
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ¾ chopped dried cranberries
- ¼ cup extra sugar
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add milk and vanilla and mix. Add flour and salt and mix well. Add cranberries and pecans.
- Roll into 2 logs about 8 x 1 ½”. Cover with cling wrap and chill for 2 hours in the refrigerator or freezer for 30-60 minutes to allow the dough to firm up.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Slice cookies about 1/4” thick. Roll edges of cookies in sugar.
- Place the Cranberry Tea Cookies on lightly greased cookie sheets and bake for 10-15 minutes.
