I went years only using liquid laundry detergent. I never realized that a powder detergent could be just effective and store longer than their liquid counterpart.

Since powder detergent is easier to travel with than liquid, I decided it would be convenient to make one myself.

Of course, it still needed to work just as good as the liquid one does.

And it also needed to be cheaper than buying it at the store. I simply hate how expensive detergent is at the store!

That’s one reason why this recipe is so great!

You’ll love this DIY powder detergent because it’s super fast to make.

Plus, this homemade laundry detergent powder is super cheap so you won’t be wasting your money on costly detergents.

And, this best powder laundry detergent really works well on all your clothes to get them super clean.

Plus, I’ll bet you already have most (if not all) of the ingredients on hand to make this powder detergent today!

Transfer the powder detergent to your plastic and glass container and you’re done!

I like to stick a plastic Tablespoon right inside the container so that it’s ready to use.

Make sure to label the container with how much to use in each load (2 TBS) to make it easy for everyone who might do laundry with your best powder laundry detergent.
