Could you use some time to relax and unwind?
One of the best ways to relieve stress is to soak in a warm bath with some delicious smelling bath salt.
We browsed the store shelves for the perfect scent, and with no success we decided to whip up our very own Homemade Mandarin Orange Bath Salt. It turned out amazing!
This takes just 5 minutes to make and lasts for up to 3 months, how great is that?

Ingredients:
1 cup Epsom Salt
2 drops Mandarin Orange Essential Oil
1 Tbsp Baking Soda
2 drops of Red Food Coloring
2 drops of Yellow Food Coloring
Small Mason Jars
Directions:
- Pour 1 cup of Epsom salt and 1 tbsp of baking soda into a mixing bowl and stir generously with a spoon. This will make up the base of your bath salt.

- If you have decided to add color this is the time to do that. We squeezed in 2 drops of red food coloring and 2 drops of yellow food coloring and mixed until all the salt was covered in an orange color. Make sure to mix it up really good to give it an even mixture.

- Once you are happy with the color add in 2 drops of mandarin orange essential oil and give it a quick mix.
That’s it!
Your homemade bath salt is now complete and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
We love to make bulk batches, store them in half pint mason jars and give them out as gifts for holidays and birthdays!
The color and scent combinations are almost endless!
To dress up your Mandarin Orange Bath Salt, consider adding these optional finishing touches.
