How To Make The Sweetest Valentine’s Day Lollipop Recipe

This hard candy lollipops recipe is simply sweet and the flavors can easily be changed to fit your taste buds.

These Valentine’s Day lollipops are an easy way spread the love this holiday!

Supplies:

• 1 cup Sugar
• 1/2 cup Water
• 1/3 cup Corn Syrup
• 1/8 (or 1 tsp.) of Unsweetened Kool-Aid Drink Mix packet (Cherry, Black Cherry, Pink Lemonade, Strawberry Kiwi, Tropical Punch, etc.)
• Lollipop Mold
• Lollipop Sticks
• Non-stick cooking spray
• Large Non-stick Sauce Pan
• Stainless steel spoon
• Candy Thermometer

• Candy Thermometer

Depending on the amount of your Valentine’s Day Lollipop mold holds, you may need to double or triple the hard candy lollipops recipe to fill all of the hearts in the mold.

This DIY candy lollipops recipe can easily be changed to fit your taste buds when you use different flavors.

Caution: The stiring of the ingredients should be done by an adult since the liquid is very hot. And, these lollipops should be sucked on not crunched to protect the teeth.

Valentine’s Day Lollipop Directions:

1. Spray mold with non stick cooking spray.
2. Place sticks in mold and put in freezer until ready to use.
3. In a large pan, combine sugar, water and corn syrup.
4. Cook on high until it reaches a temperature of 300 degrees (hard crack stage). This is why you need a candy thermometer for this hard candy lollipops recipe.

5. Add 1/8 of the contents of the Kool-Aid packet (amount in packet varies based on flavor).
6. Remove from heat and stir for 1-2 minutes.
7. Pour into molds and allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing.
