I had been “dabbling” in couponing for quite some time. A friend of mine told me about your website and the free classes you offer. I went to one last year and was hooked. I did very well but felt I could do better. I went to a ‘refresher’ basic class a few weeks ago here in Sarasota and wow, what a difference. It reinforced everything I had learned before and I learned some new tricks. I also met a wonderful gentleman who will get the Tampa paper for us here in Sarasota. It was wonderful! I bought a couponing box from Brian and he promised me I would make that money back in 2 trips to the store if I had paid attention to the class. I want you to know that last Friday was the very best trip to Publix yet. I purchased $80.01 worth of groceries and paid Publix $23.67 and part of that was tax.
I am able to help my parents who live on a fixed income as well as donate to the local food pantry. With all the savings I am able to purchase organic vegetables and milk (yes Katie I listened) for myself and can even donate to the local some supplies to the local shelter.
Thank you so much for giving of your time and expertise to teach the rest of us how to save. I promise, I will not hoard but share with others who are less fortunate than me. Peanut butter to the local school for the children who have no lunch and…I am now planning on watching for coupons for the items not covered by food stamps so I can share a little brightness for those folks as well not just with staples. They need a treat too.
Without True Couponing I would not have the knowledge or the financial ability to do this. I am forever in your debt.
