I attended my 1st workshop at Open Arms Church on 27-Jan. I wanted to share with you my 1st shopping trip since then. I only have a family of 2 so I don’t have the multiple newspaper subscriptions. It’s not as good as some of the others, but I thought not too shabby for my 1st try. The workshop really helped a lot!
So I went to Walgreens last night. I purchased everything in the picture, except the cookie jar and plant, for an oop (out of pocket) total of $15.93. That’s 4 x Speed Sticks, 2 x Irish Spring deodorants, 2 x Irish Spring body washes, 2 x Soft Soap body washes, 2 x Colgate Toothpastes, and 10 ct Breathe Right Nasal Strips. Here’s what I did and I hope I write it all down right:
Transaction # 1: 2 x Lady Speed Sticks, Irish Spring Deodorant, Irish Spring body wash, Soft Soap body wash, Colgate Toothpaste. I used $5 Wags RR, 2/ $3.98 SQ for Speed Stick, BOGO MQ for Speed Stick, $1 MQ for Irish Spring deodorant, $1 MQ for Colgate, $1 MQ for Irish Spring body wash, $1MQ for Soft Soap. The 4 Colgate products qualified for the 4/ $12 sale and $4 Wags RR. Total oop $6.02, plus I qualify for Colgate $5 MIR
Transaction # 2: 2 x Speed Sticks, Irish Spring Deodorant, Irish Spring body wash, Soft Soap body wash, Colgate toothpaste, 10 ct Breathe Right Nasal Strips. I used $4 Wags RR from previous transaction, 2/ $3.98 SQ for Speed Stick, BOGO MQ for Speed Stick, $1 MQ for Irish Spring deodorant, $.50 MQ for Colgate toothpaste, $1 MQ for Irish Spring body wash, $1MQ for Soft Soap, and Wags RR for free Breathe Right Nasal Strips. The 4 Colgate products qualified for the 4/$12 sale and $4 Wags RR. Total oop $9.91, plus I qualify for Colgate $5 MIR
Just a quick note, I had a hard time with the 4/ $12 sale because even though the add says Colgate Total Toothpaste 4 oz – 6 oz, the register was not recognizing the 4.2 oz size as part of the sale. Needless to say, I was there for about 40 minutes trying to get it straightened out to make sure I got all my rewards.
