We normally post a True Couponing testimonial every Sunday, but after reading this one today we couldn’t wait that long. There are so many people who could use a little help right here in our communities right now.

My husband went to a true couponing seminar a year ago. He came home and ordered six Sunday papers. I said “Are you crazy?!”. Then I watched him for a month and was surprised at the savings we had with our groceries. I found myself getting into this coupon thing… Pretty soon each week I was calling him at work and telling him the awesome deals I received. He was pleased that I came around and more than likely that I took over and received better deals than he did. Yes, I did! Ok, he knew me and gave me a challenge. My daughters were in school and living away from home. I was able to provide extras for them that helped our budget.
My husband had been battling cancer for 3 ½ years and with our health insurance bills and everyday costs we were struggling. Almost bankrupt. This was truly a blessing. My husband passed in February of this year and I was told by one friend you can stop that couponing stuff! Another friend said “No, you enjoy it and keep it up!”. I was into it and am pleased to say I never stopped.
Yesterday, with all the free things I’ve received I gave our local Metro ministries toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, shampoo, etc… They were totally out. I also used my coupons to provide a family with an entire Thanksgiving dinner. I took my 12 yr old son with me shopping and we delivered it together. I will continue my husband’s wishes and I know he is looking down at us right now and pleased that I am giving to those in need. I know these charities need assistance all year long and I plan to do so with True Couponing. God bless you and thank you!
