Here’s another testimonial we received this week in an email from one of our True Couponers…
I want to start off by saying, what a blessing you are to myself and our surrounding communities. I am new to couponing and have been doing it for about 2 months now. I just had a baby about 3 months ago and while I was on maternity leave, I learned about the wonderful and fabulous world of couponing (and since then have told everyone about couponing)!! My 1st month I saved almost $800 in my everyday grocery bills and other household neccessities.
The other day I was on facebook and saw that a friend of mine had posted this on her wall ” My heart goes out to [the lady she knows]. She is a refugee from Haiti due to the earthquake. She is here with her 4 children…alone, no family to help her. Her Husband is back in Haiti working as an accountant and sending money here to help her pay her rent while she works to pay the other bills and things they needed for their children. They live in a 1 bedroom efficiency and they share a kitchen with other tenants. Last week her husband suddenly died, they do not yet know of the cause. She is left with 4 children to support and little hope. Her husband was due to come for a visit Saturday and it was the 1st time he was granted a 1 month stay. I am looking for suggestions on how we could raise funds to help this poor lady. She does not complain or ask for a lot. Just says she has to be strong for her children. She needs someone to step up and help her financially.”
After reading that, my heart was broken for her. I was a single mom for almost 4 years to 1 beautiful little girl and couldnt imagine my soul mate suddenly not being in my life and left to take care of 4 children by myself. I am coming up on my 1 year anniversary with my husband and I prayed for God to send him into my life after leaving a horrible and abusive relationship with my daughters biological father. Father God, I just pray a surrounding of peace around this womans life and her childrens lives (the ages of the kids are 2,6,11, and 14) and that she would know that there is hope, even in the dark places of her life, where there seems to be no hope. That Jesus will not leave her or forsake her. That He is with her and His hand is on her.
I responded to my friend and told her that I was not able to give financilly, but I could give her food if she was in need of it. Becasue of True Couponing, I went through my cabinets and was able to give her 8 grocery bags full of food. Because of your ministry, I was able to bless a woman with no hope. My hope for her is that for just 1 second she felt the love of Jesus from a complete stranger, and it warms my soul to know that it was one less worry for her and her children to know that they wouldnt go hungry.

We cannot put into words what it means to us when a True Couponer passes along a Blessing and helps someone else because of couponing. God can use anything…even couponing to touch lives in His name.
