Okay… I just finished entering my receipts in my spreadsheet for 2012. I count everything I spend on all food/toiletries at Publix, Winn Dixie, CVS, Walgreens, Target and Walmart. Oh, and I count the cost of the coupon inserts I buy each week. Here’s my results for a family of 5, with three teenagers 14, 16 and 18. My hubby and myself. Paid out of pocket $2,174.71. SAVED $11,408.97 FOR AN 84% SAVINGS….THAT IS AN AVERAGE OF $41.82 per WEEK!! I didn’t mention that I also buy diapers and wipes for my granddaughter too!
