I didn’t use coupons but had a Money Maker anyway. Last June we bought a 1995 Toyota Camry with 188,000 miles for $1,600. It was our only car. In September, someone accidentally backed into us damaging the rear side panel. We got estimates to repair it, and they wrote us a check for $1,300. Our neighbor, who works on car bodies, took a board and hammer and banged out the dent. It was not perfect but 90% improved. The air conditioner started giving us problems and one of the power windows no longer worked. We owned it for 9 months and put on 18,000 miles – it now had 207,000 miles.
We decided to sell. In April we sold it to the first person for $1,700.

Check for $1,300
Sold for $1,700
That is a net gain of $1,400 to drive a car for 9 months! Now that is a great Money Maker!
