store your stockpile Tampa Bay Times Article 3-26Today is the day our featured column is in the Tampa Bay Times! You will find it in today, Wednesday's, 3/26 Tampa Bay Times Newspaper inside the front cover of the Taste Section. Today's topic is about where and how to store your stockpile!

Couponing takes willpower, first to cut  and use the coupons – and then to control the urge to NOT execute every deal! Here are some practical solutions to store all those excess freebies!

First, Get organized! Keeping designated storage spaces in neat order and utilizing every square inch is key to storing the most. At one glance, be able to determine how many items are on hand to see if you need more. Rotate perishables just like in the grocery store!

Second, Buy wisely! It is tempting to acquire every freebie, but realize that storing unused items also costs time (and therefore money) by needing to sort and possibly donate.

Third, Remove packaging! Taking items out of their initial box packaging saves a ton of room inside freezers and pantries. Store small packs of fruit snacks, bars and packets in bins on pantry shelves. How often do you find an entire box taking up space for just one item? Using coupons does not have to cause chaos inside your home!

Basically, with a little bit of creativity, your stash will be well organized – even in the smallest spaces, and make it more fun to save the hundreds of dollars each year!
