How do you know what is really a good deal? Or what you should be spending on certain items?
Everything you purchase goes on sale regularly. In order to determine if the sale price is really the best price, decide ahead of time what you are willing to spend. It’s called the “Stock Up Price”. Here are the “Stock Up Prices” for some common items: Detergents, whether laundry or dishwasher, should only cost $2 or less per bottle or package. Normally priced around $7 each, this is a 65% savings! Cleaning Supplies: $1 or less per bottle! Personal Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoos & conditioners have this rule of thumb ~ if it goes in your mouth = 50¢ each and if it goes in your hair = $1 each. Paper Products: bath tissue is only 25¢ per roll, napkins and paper towels are 75¢ each. Paper plates are $1 per package.
