- FREE or $1 Summer Movies – Get in out of the heat by taking your kids to the theater for FREE (or just $1). All the major movie theatres play slightly dated movies weekly over the summer for free or a reduced price. They also usually have discounted theater snacks! All the movies are rated PG or G, so they make a great time for the entire family. Learn more about the specific movies being offered and which theatres HERE.
- Earn FREE Books for Summer Reading – Barnes & Noble, Chuck E Cheese's, and Pizza Hut all have summer reading programs. You could even check your bank because some of them will deposit $10 to your child's savings account when they turn in a reading log over the summer! - Get Outside & Play – Don't underestimate your local national park! They can offer canoe rentals, fishing peers and hiking trails. Even undiscovered swimming holes are here locally! There is a lot of cheap fun you can have in the great outdoors. Check your credit card company, because several of them have relationships with Museums that allow for free entrance.
- FREE Bowling – Get a little indoor exercise with a fun game of Bowling! Register at KidsBowlFREE.com and each Sunday they will email you a coupon for Kids to bowl (2) FREE Games PER DAY during the entire summer. That's a $500 value! Just try to get some bowling shoes before you go…that could really eat up all your savings. AMF has the same program but they also have a program for adults.
