Shopping Trip 1-6-13It's Shopping Trip Time!
First Trip of the New Year! Because of the stellar Sweetbay coupon that my area received in the paper yesterday (view details here) and the fact that it was the last day for the “Save $10 wyb $50 Gas Card” promotion, I brought Annabelle along for a fun shopping trip! We found a few bonus GDA's while in the store as well (see Rubbermaid item below).

Here are the items we bought yesterday at Publix: {Weds, 1/9, is the last day to shop from this same ad HERE}

Have you downloaded the TrueCouponing App yet? I knew what I was going to spend BEFORE I even got into the checkout lane!! Get it for Android HERE and Apple HERE. {must you even ask…YES, of course it's FREE!}

I am a reasonable couponer…when you look at the photo above, do you think, “that looks like around $30 worth of food?” It's 43 items!! The reality of it is that it took less than 30 minutes to pull these coupons. The reason I saved SO MUCH was because I was strategic in WHEN I shopped. There were lots of items I didn't even have coupons for!!! Couponing is a strategy for spending…not a unique club that forces you to spend time slaving away cutting coupons weekly. C'mon! This is REAL LIFE!

~Be inspired to do this too! Happy Shopping!
