Whoa! What a week for “Total-Dollar-Off” Coupons!
In addition to the Publix $5/$40 coupon we knew was coming out today…we also found a Sweetbay $10 off $50 printed in the Tampa Bay Area 2/2/14 newspapers! You will find it on page 10A of the Tampa Bay Times, and page 11 in the Tampa Tribune. I would suspect that it is also printed in the Bradenton Herald and Naples News Press. If you see it, please comment below to help your fellow couponers find it too!
The Publix coupon is only valid in specific Florida counties: Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, Collier, Lake, Sumter, Osceola, Marion and Highlands. It also states, Limit One Coupon Per Customer Per Day.
The Sweetbay coupon has a few exclusions. It excludes wine & alcohol, gift cards, money orders, tobacco products, prescriptions, lottery tickets, postage stamps and items prohibited by law. It also has a Limit of One Per Customer.
Then….do you also have the Enjoy the City Books with the Winn Dixie coupons inside? {there is a deal going on right now to get them for only $2.50/book, so you can have them for the next time these coupons come around…trust me, they will release them again 😎 }
This is the BEST case scenario because at either Publix or Sweetbay, you can stack a combination of two coupons! If you don’t have a Sweetbay near your Publix, just use the Winn Dixie coupon instead of the Sweetbay. Confused? Here’s some specific scenarios:
Shopping At Publix: Check our list of Publix Competitors to see if Sweetbay is a competitor.
If so: Make sure your Total is $90: Use Publix $5 off $40 and Sweetbay $10 off $50, that is one Store “Total Dollar Off” and one Competitor “Total Dollar Off” giving you $15 off your $90 BEFORE other coupons!! Wow!
If not: Make sure your Total is $70: Use Publix $5 off $40 and Winn Dixie $5 off $30. This saves you $10 off your $70 total before other coupons!
Shopping at Sweetbay:
If your order Total is $90: Use one Sweetbay $10 off $50 and one Publix $5 off $40. This saves you $15 off your $90 total, before other coupons!

**Note** Please do not ask a cashier to take more than the two coupons specified.
