I have had it. On three separate occasions this week, the photo above is what I encountered as I visited the restroom at my house. When that happens over and over again, I have to
question if God is trying to teach me something
…since it also happened when I was at the hairdresser, I decided it was time to take action.

Yep. There is something I can learn. Diligence.

Kevin (our 10 year old) and Annabelle (our 13 year old) have the bathroom duty at our house. They are each in charge of a bathroom and daily they have certain chores and weekly they get a little “deeper” to make sure if we have guests, they will have an enjoyable restroom experience at the Kiefer Home.

I wouldn’t even have bothered to post on this topic, except EACH of the 3 times I encountered the empty roll of toilet paper, there were NO backup rolls under the sink…stranded! Eek!

In Ecclesiastics 9:10 we are reminded that “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” and in Proverbs 31 verse 17(a) we see that “She sets about her work vigorously”, a great way to model for raising our girls! So, we now have a wonderful handy (laminated) daily and weekly checklist for each of the bathrooms to ensure that this does not reoccur as we approach a busy visiting schedule with the upcoming holidays! I thought you all might like to use it too?!

Go HERE to download our daily chore list (cut to size and laminate for durability). You can also download the original Excel file HERE if you want to make any changes for your specific family!
