Other Handouts:

These are some other resources to print and pass out at your class:

  • Coupon Lingo
Reference this list to help you understand all the lingo and abbreviations used on this website and in the couponing community.
  • Coupon Insert Schedule
Learn what coupon inserts you can expect to come each Sunday! Know what to unstuff!
  • Stock Up Price Guide
The “Stock Up Price” is the maximum price we are willing to pay for an item. When you can purchase an item at its “buy price” you should purchase multiples and stock up on that item.  Buy enough to last an entire sales cycle (6-12 weeks) or until the item reaches its “buy price” again.
  • Savings Tracker – Enter three numbers from your receipt and the sheet will automatically calculate several key numbers for you such as:
    • % Saved for Each Shopping Trip
    • Total % Saved for the month
    • Monthly Budget Tracker
    • Total Year Spending (and Saving) Summary
You could also enter the details from each of your receipts as well, and keep track of what you are spending on individual items.

Other Fun Resources:

  • Coupon Database
Look for ANY Coupon (whether it is a printable or found in the Newspaper) to clip or print right from there!
  • Problems Printing Coupons
It can be so frustrating when you go to print a coupon and it doesn’t work. This is a wonderful page of loads of troubleshooting things to try to get that money printing again!
  • How to use Digital Coupons
Do those pesky apps confuse you? Ibotta, Checkout 51, Cartwheel? What are they, what do they mean? We compare each one and help you learn how to use them to save even more overall money!
  • Easy List of What Coupons to Purge and Send to the Military
The Military can use our expired coupons for up to six months after they expire. Don’t recycle them…  give the a second life by mailing them overseas to our Active Military!
  • Coupon Cutter and Date Stickers
These are the tools I use to make it quicker and easier to cut coupons each week (and keep you organized).
  • Savings Tracker – Enter three numbers from your receipt and the sheet will automatically calculate several key numbers for you such as:
    • % Saved for Each Shopping Trip
    • Total % Saved for the month
    • Monthly Budget Tracker
    • Total Year Spending (and Saving) Summary
