- How did I (Loretta) get into couponing? I got involved in couponing a few years ago when Kati was holding parties in friends’ homes. The amount of money I saved in the first four weeks, which was after I built up my newspapers, was unbelievable! And it hasn’t ended, but it has gotten easier to maintain.
- A Sample Shopping Trip – I remember one shopping trip in which I only spent $48 on over $200 worth of groceries. And it was EASY, too! In this trip, Truecouponing.com had alerted us to a great deal on Purex which made each bottle .75 (normally $7.50 each). I checked out the other ‘quick' deals and prepared to shop. This whole trip only took two hours from checking the website to clipping the coupons, driving, shopping and returning home. I call this a low hanging fruit trip, where I simply picked the easiest deals and saved BIG. I only used manufacturer coupons combined with Store Promotions to save $160.00. It was easy, fast and rewarding!
- More than Groceries – Eventually, it developed into using TrueCouponing for more than just groceries. Just this week, Kati alerted us to several FREE eBook downloads.
