This week’s topic was all about the upcoming after Easter sales and Earth Day FREEies you can get this Tuesday, April 22nd!

After Easter Sales: Today is my favorite holiday! And with it comes loads of deals… on more than just food! When trying to save money, always think outside the box and be creative.
- Repurpose baskets – Baskets are on sale right now, and not just ones for collecting eggs. Use them to organize kids toys, or kitchen items, baby products. Or as a container for a gift!
- The shredded colored Easter grass (which is around $.25) is also useful for replacing tissue paper and stuffing in the top of gift bags, or for cushioning small packages you are mailing!
- Egg Dyes can be used at different times of the year for festive hard-cooked eggs. Use Red and Blue Dyes for your 4th of July picnics or for birthday parties.
- Other “Easter Leftover” gifts that you will find super cheap right now can be used for Baby, Birthday, Christmas! Look for cute animal washrags, towels or puppets to use as gifts for kids later. You can usually find many resin animal knick-knacks, like rabbits and ducks, that make cute baby and toddlers gifts for room decorations And stuffed animals are great for kids, teenagers, kids in the hospital, cancer patients and the elderly in nursing homes.
Earth Day Freebies: This Tuesday, April 22nd is Earth Day. That means businesses will be vying for your visit! Earth Day began in 1970 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Today, it is celebrated in more than 192 countries!
