A few weeks ago my 3rd child, Campbell (8 years old), woke up in the middle of the night. He had a small stomach ache and he whispered… “mom” and I immediately jumped up to run to his rescue!
He was so surprised, I think he forgot about his stomach issue.
He said to me, “Mom, how in the world did you hear me? I could barely even hear myself…I never thought you would hear me and come help me. Are you a super hero?”
“Yes, yes, as a matter of fact I am. A God appointed Super-Hero with super sonic hearing that even in the deepest sleep, the Lord will awaken me at moments when you are in need! Isn’t Jesus neat that He designed a Mommy to know their babies cries and needs?”
Psalm 145:18 shows that God is our Superhero and will always hear our whispers too, “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”
