The Basic Workshop lasts about 2 hours and covers the following:
- What is TrueCouponing
- How to find/gather your coupons
- Where to organize/store your coupons
- How to pull your coupons and prepare to shop.
- Basic coupon scenarios and tips
- Basic coupon lingo
We will NOT delve into more technical coupon scenarios like CVS and Walgreens. Those are covered in the Advanced Workshop (dates TBA).
“It’s no secret that the main source of coupons is the Sunday newspaper! Don’t wait until after the workshop to start purchasing them…start this Sunday! Even though you will not use the coupons you purchase for a few weeks, they will maximize your savings. We suggest purchasing at least 4 papers (it sounds like a lot, but you will learn why this amount is necessary at the workshop). However, please DO NOT bring your papers with you. Just bring your smile and an open, willing heart to learn!”
