CVS Shopping Scenarios for 8/4 – 8/10!!

To get the biggest savings at CVS, you’ll need to take advantage of their ECB Deals AND use coupons.  Here are a few shopping scenarios broken down into separate transactions for this week to get you started.

{TRANSACTION #1}
Buy: (1) Revlon Nail Polish (Limit 6) @ $4.99
Use: (1) $2/1 Revlon Cosmetic Item, exp. 8/18/13 (SS 07/28/13 #2 R) (minus $2)
Pay: $4.99 (product total) – $2 (coupon total) = $2.99 OOP
Get Back: $3 ECBs

Buy: (2) Colgate Total Mouthwash 250 ml (Limit 2) @ 2/$5.98
Use: (2) $1/1 Colgate Mouthwash, exp. 8/24/13 (SS 07/28/13 #2) (minus $2)
Pay: $5.98 (product total) – $2 (coupon total) – $3 ECBs (from Transaction #1) = $0.00 OOP
Get Back:  $2 ECBs

Buy: (3) General Mills Cereal, 8.9-14oz (Limit 1) @ 3/$8.64
Use:  (3) $1/1 Vanilla Chex Cereal printable, $1/1 Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Cereal printable, $1/1 Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Cereal printable, $1/1 Vanilla Chex Cereal printable, $1/1 Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Cereal printable (minus $3)
Pay: $8.64 (product total) – $3 (coupon total) – $2 ECBs (from Transaction #2) = $3.64 OOP

Use:

Get Back: $6 ECBs

Use: (3) $2/1 Revlon Cosmetic Item, exp. 8/18/13 (SS 07/28/13 #2 R) (minus $6)
Pay: $14.97 (product total) – $6 (coupon total) – $6 ECBs (from Transaction #4) = $2.97 OOP
Get Back: $9 ECBs

Total of All Products Before Coupons or ECBs would have been $52.58!
Final Price OOP = $19.58

And, you still have $9 ECBs to use next week!

If you already have some ECBs from previous weeks to start this week’s transactions, your OOP will be even less!

Remember to scan your Extra Care Card at the in-store kiosk before you shop every time at CVS. You can usually scan it (2) or more times. You could get some CVS store coupons to save more!
