CVS-ShoppingCVS Shopping Scenarios for 3/17 – 3/23!!

To get the biggest savings at CVS, you’ll need to take advantage of their ECB Deals AND use coupons.  Here are a few shopping scenarios broken down into separate transactions for this week to get you started.

{TRANSACTION #1}
Buy: (1) Paas Egg Dye Kit @ $1.99
Buy: (1) Carmex Healing Cream @ $4.99
Buy: (1) BIC Hybrid 6 pk, Hybrid4, Flex4 or Soleil Savvy 3-4 pk Razor @ $6.99
Buy: (3) Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste 5.8 oz or Optic White 4 oz @ 3/$8.97 = $8.97
Use: (1) $1/1 Carmex Skin Care printable (minus $1)
Use: (1) $3/1 Bic Disposable Razor, exp. 4/14/13 (SS 03/17/13) (minus $3)
Use: (3) $1/1 Colgate Total Advanced, Optic White or Sensitive Pro-Relief, exp. 3/30/13 (SS 03/10/13) (minus $3)
Use: (1) $4/$20 CVS SQ (minus $4)
Pay: $22.94 (product total) – $7 (MQ total) – $4 (CVS SQ) = $11.94 OOP
Get Back: $1.99 ECBs + $3 ECBs + $2 ECBs + $3 ECBs = $9.99 ECBs

{TRANSACTION #2}
Buy:
(2) Scott Choose-A-Size Mega Roll Paper Towels 6 pk @ $5.49 each = $10.98
Buy: (3) Scott Bath Tissue 12-18 pk @ $7.49 each = $22.47
Use: (2) $0.75/1 Scott Towels, exp. 4/27/13 (SS 03/17/13) (minus $1.50)
Use: (3) $0.75/1 Scott Bath Tissue, exp. 4/27/13 (SS 03/17/13) (minus $2.25)
Use: $9.99 ECBs from Transaction #1 (minus $9.99)
Pay: $33.45 (product total) – $3.75 (coupon total) – $9.99 ECBs = $19.71 OOP
Get Back: $10 ECBs

What did it all really cost? (If you don’t need the diapers in Transaction #5)
Transaction #1 = $11.94
Transaction #2 = $19.71
Transaction #3 = $2
Transaction #4= $2
Total of All Products Before Coupons or ECBs would have been $86.39
Final Price OOP = $35.65 for 23 items or only $1.55 per item!
And, you still have $4 ECBs to use next week!

What did it all really cost? (Including Transaction #5 with Diapers…)
Transaction #1 = $11.94
Transaction #2 = $19.71
Transaction #3 = $2
Transaction #4= $2
Transaction #5= $20
Total of All Products Before Coupons or ECBs would have been $116.39
Final Price OOP = $55.65 for 26 items or only $2.14 per item!
And, you still have $10 ECBs to use next week!

If you already have some ECBs from previous weeks to start this week’s transactions, your OOP will be even less!

Remember to scan your Extra Care Card at the in-store kiosk before you shop every time at CVS. You can usually scan it (2) or more times. You could get some CVS store coupons to save more!
