We know sometimes couponing can be confusing, and we are here to help!

Here at True Couponing, we receive questions daily about all kinds of things pertaining to couponing. To help answer your questions, we will regularly post Questions and Answers to some of the Frequently Asked Questions we receive from our readers.

Today’s question comes from Carol by email…

Question:

“When I get this type of email I can’t open it. Please let me know what it is. Love the couponing information!
~Carol F.”

 Forwarded email:
[The message and any attached files have been turned into a ZIP attachment. Once downloaded and unzipped, open it with a word processor or text editor for reading.]

Answer:

When you get an email from True Couponing in the form of a zip attachment, it just means that there is a lot of information in the email and your email carrier has chosen to deliver it in a zip file instead of full length.  We are not sending it in a zip file, your email carrier is converting it into one.
There are 2 things you can do:
  • Change your email download settings. For AOL users, you can find instructions HERE.  Find instructions for other carriers by searching the web for “change download settings [insert your email carrier here]”.
  • If you cannot figure out how to change your email download settings, just go to the live website at TrueCouponing.com to view the recent posts.

The emails that are being converted to a zip file usually contain a store list with coupon matchups. These posts do tend to be very long.
