I call these items odds and ends. These are the ones that you never think of buying ahead. You only think of them when you run out and need them!! Remember, couponers buy now to save later! Here are items that I’m guilty of forgetting so let’s buy them before we need them to save time and money. And stop going crazy!
Batteries at 17 Cents Each is a Super Buy Price!
Don’t you hate when the remote for your TV or for your ceiling fan or anything else that requires batteries dies on you!?! I do the battery shuffle too, asking my kids to bring me forty different batteries to find that no combination will work (because your kids throw the old batteries into the new battery box – ugh). Well, buy this box of 100 because this is a crazy good price on batteries!
I’m the Queen of Blowing Up Light Bulbs
Do you have this special mutant ability too? My kids and hubby get angry at me because I am always going around the house turning on the lights and at least once a week I end up blowing out one or two! Then the light bulb shuffle begins! I decided to go with these light bulbs because they are more durable and won’t break the budget!
Who Took My Scissors?!
Some day I’ll have the time to clean my house 100% (maybe after all my kids have moved out) and I’ll find all of my pairs of scissors. They are always magically disappearing, and it takes me hours to find a pair when I need them!!
Who Used the Last Paper Plate?
The rule in our house is if you use the last paper plate in the house, YOU are responsible for replacing a new stack. And if you pull the last one from the garage, tell mom or dad. Well that almost never happens (it seems) and sometimes we can run out for a couple of days. Amazon is a great way to bridge the gap and the price is right!!
Not Again…I’ll Solve This Problem for the Next 90 Loads
Ugh, no dishwasher detergent on sale and I’m out again. No problem, Amazon will ship it in one to two days and it’s not a horrible price. I always prefer to coupon this item, but the sales cycle doesn’t always match up to my usage!
Kids + School Projects = Sharpies!
Sharpies rarely go on sale and the only way to save on them is to buy them in bulk. I like to buy a big pack in black and another in multi-color. That way I’m done for the school year!! It seems you can always use a sharpie!
I’m Using These Faster Than I Can Buy Them
Cold and allergy season is here and everyone in my house is sneezing their heads off. If you’re like me and can’t take the sniffling, you’ve been telling your kids to “BLOW YOUR NOSE” please!! This is another item I can’t seem to buy enough because of the 12 week sales cycle!
