Your wedding should be magical, romantic, and exciting for you and those who you love.

Your bridesmaids are going to want to make this time a special moment for you but don’t forget about helping them as well.

We are providing you with some ways to help keep your beautiful bridesmaids happy leading up to your wedding.

Give Them The Honor

Choosing your bridesmaids can sometimes feel very selective especially when you have a lot of friends.

I remember a friend’s wedding who had two bridesmaids and another who had eight.

Let each of your bridesmaids feel honored that they have been asked to fill their title by bringing them together and celebrating. It could be a gathering at your home, a morning meeting for coffee, or late-night appetizers.

Bring them together and let them know that they are appreciated and that you understand that everyone has a budget in mind.

Be completely open to suggestions and don’t become offended if they say they can’t do something.

Let Them Choose

Give your ladies some room to make some decisions.

If you have a color for the bridesmaid’s dress, then give them a few choices for the style.

Keep in mind that everyone has a different body type so ladies may not feel comfortable in the same fashion of dress.

Let them have some room to decide if they all are willing to wear the same dress or if they would like to each wear a different style in the same color.

Another opportunity to give your bridesmaids a choice is when you have wedding tasks, give your bridesmaids a chance to volunteer, instead of assigning tasks yourself.

Rent The Dress

To help your bridesmaids save some money consider bridesmaids dresses that they will be able to rent rather than spending money on a new dress that they will only wear once.

You can search local bridal shops for rentals, or you can check out some websites that specialize in renting dresses such as Vow to be Chic or Rent the Runway.

Give Accessories As Gifts

You can help ease some of the expense from your bridesmaids by purchasing accessories that they can wear on the big day.

Search for jewelry that comes in a set with a necklace and earrings or a bracelet.

Present these items as gifts. They will all feel appreciated and will cherish it while also remembering being apart of your wedding for years to come.

Consider Their Schedule

Your wedding is going to probably be the only thing on your mind while you prepare each day before the ceremony.

Your bridesmaids love you and are keeping you in their thoughts, but they probably have other obligations in their lives as well.

There are a lot of preparations to be made from the dress to the centerpieces.

Be considerate when scheduling events. Make sure you give plenty of notice and follow up to confirm if they will be able to attend.

Keep Track Of The Budget

In addition to the wedding budget, make sure you are also keeping track of how much your bridesmaids are spending.

Be mindful of any upcoming expenses and communicate with your bridesmaids to make sure that they are also aware so that it is not unexpected.

Communication is vital for you to understand whether your bridesmaids are happy or feeling burden financially.

Provide An Itinerary Ahead Of Time

The day of the wedding typically has a lot happening.

There will have to be set times to arrive for makeup and hair, setting up for photos, being in position for the ceremony, and then transitioning to the reception and whatever else has been planned.

Make sure to keep everyone in the loop of what is happening by issuing an itinerary as soon as one is developed and then bring some extras the day of the ceremony.

Keep Those Ladies Energized

On the day of the ceremony make sure there is something for the ladies to eat.

Provide them with a light meal when they arrive such as bagels, fruit, and plenty of water to keep them hydrated.

During the day keep some snacks available to last until the reception.

Congratulations on your big day!

I hope these tips will help you along the way over the next months leading to your wedding.

Overall the best way to keep your bridesmaids happy is to remember that you love them, keep smiling and don’t forget to say thank you.
