Whether you see each other every day or haven’t seen each other for months, having a weekend with your girlfriends is a must no matter how busy you are. Just think about the idea of having your husband watch the kids for a weekend, no grocery shopping to do, and all household responsibilities nonexistent for a whole weekend!

While a girl’s weekend might sound like fun, if you’re in the middle of a no spend challenge, it can seem like a drag. You can’t have any fun if you can’t spend any money.

Wrong! These no spend activities are perfect for your girl’s weekend so you can get away without the guilt!

Make Your Own Brunch And Eat It On The Patio

Who has the most beautiful backyard? This is going to be your first stop on the girl’s weekend activities!

Instead of spending money for mimosas and hashbrowns at a fancy restaurant, get dressed up and have brunch at home! You can even make it together for some quality bonding time! Set out lovely dishes, break out the orange juice, and enjoy all the luxuries of brunch right on your own patio set.

DIY Manicures And Pedicures

There is nothing quite like freshly painted nails! Get the girls together, put on a chick flick and paint each other’s nails! It will feel just like a slumber party from when you were teenagers, and you can gossip and catch up.

You can take your DIY manicure and pedicure to the next level by making your foot soaks and hand creams to make it feel salon quality.

Go For A Hike

If the weather is beautiful and you’re looking to get outdoors, why not go for a hike! Find a nearby trail and hit the woods for the afternoon. This is a great way to get some exercise, spend time with the girls, and enjoy nature. There are a ton of free admission parks you can visit if no one has a national park membership, and it will still be just as fun.

Have A Movie Night

One of my all-time favorite ways to spend a weekend with the girls is either binge-watching a show or having a movie marathon. You can alternate who picks the movie, stream them through Netflix, or use a few free Redbox codes to score some new films. Make a big bowl of popcorn and enjoy some of your favorite movies at home for free!

Have A Food Tasting

Have each lady search their home for something exotic to taste test. Do you have different kinds of chocolate, coffee, or something else that might be fun for everyone to try? This can be an inexpensive yet fun way to spend the afternoon or evening together.

Have A Themed Dinner

What could be more fun than dressing up for a meal out? Dressing up for a meal in! Make it a potluck and have each person bring their dish that fits with the theme. Get all dressed up for the occasion and enjoy a fun dinner with your closest friends.

Play Board Games

When was the last time you broke out those board games? If you don’t have many board games, dig out a deck of cards and have a casino night at your home. If you have a video game console, play games on that instead.

Get creative and find a fun game you and your ladies can play together. This is a great way to do some serious bonding and realize how long it’s been since you’ve played a board game.

Exercise Together

You don’t have to be an exercise instructor to enjoy a day of fun and exercise with the girls. You can find a ton of free exercise videos on YouTube or alternatives to traditional exercise like line dancing!

Here are a couple of other ideas:

  • Walking
  • Running
  • Riding bikes
  • Swimming
  • Yoga
  • Tennis
  • Hula Hoop
  • Zumba
  • Kickboxing

No matter what your goals are and what you are working toward, it is so important to take some time for your friends! Don’t let a no spend week get in the way of some quality girl time, and enjoy these no spend activities for girl’s weekend instead.
