Here is a little more information for you:
- Know What to Spend – How can you save if you don’t know what you should spend? Everything that you purchase goes on sale at some point in time. If you knew what you should spend on something, then when it went on sale you would know when it was the time to BUY, right?! We put a little “Shopping Cart” or “True Deal” Button on every item that is at the Stock Up Price…so you can buy with confidence that you are paying the best (lowest) price possible!
- Detergents (Laundry and Dishwasher) and Cleaning Supplies – All Detergents (whether Laundry or Dishwasher) should only cost $2.50 OR LESS per bottle or package. The normal price for these items is $7 each. That is a 65% savings! And Cleaning Supplies are only $1 or less per spray bottle!
- Personal Toiletries – Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Shampoos/Conditioner. If it goes in your mouth…50 cents each. If it goes in your hair…a buck. And I am not talking the cheap, generic brands. We are talking about the NEWEST kind, the expensive brands like Nexxus and Crest 3D whitening. Products you already buy but could be saving money on!
- Common Necessities: Paper Products – Paper plates, napkins, bath tissue and paper towels. There is a really easy way to determine what you should spend on Bath Tissue. If you look at the package, down near the bottom is the square feet, just translate that into dollars and cents by adding a decimal point and a dollar sign. If it is 400 sq ft, then you should pay $4. Easy! That translates to about $0.25 per roll of bath tissue and $0.75 per roll of Paper Towels. So it is easy to determine on a 12 pack or a 6 pack, what you should spend! Napkins costs the same as Paper Towels, $0.75 per package and the Paper Plates are $1.
Shop with Strategy! Basically, just by the sheer TIMING of when you buy items for your household, you can save a TON of money! It is like a GAME. How low can you go this week?!
