Did you catch our Savings Segment this morning on Fox? We are honored to be a featured on Good Day Tampa Bay each Sunday to share our knowledge about coupons and how to get the most for your money! This week's topic was all about how to save money shopping at Pharmacies.
Here is a little more information for you:
- Drug Stores Have Rewards – Grocery stores are more straight forward with coupon usage, but the huge savings potential available at Drug Stores is worth visiting. You can use coupons the exact same way at Drug Stores as you do at Grocery Stores – you can use manufacturer's coupons and “stack” those along with store coupons. However, Grocery stores are missing one thing…REWARDS. Drug Stores have rewards that add in a new level of savings.
- “Roll” Your Rewards – “Rolling” is the term couponers use to utilize rewards to get the most for their money. It works when you buy one item, earn rewards, then use those same rewards you just earned to buy another item.
- Use Deal Scenarios – These are the step-by-step instructions we include on each Pharmacy list which basically work like this: An item will go on sale at a drug store, and then it has rewards available on it, you use a manufacturer coupon as well as a store coupon, and end up paying less than the reward you get back. They are in essence paying you to try these pharmacy products!
- Loyal Customers Win – Pharmacies do have higher prices to start, but once you use coupons and factor in the rewards system, designed as a loyalty program, Pharmacies are even cheaper than Grocery stores or Supercenters. Those rewards keep you coming back week after week. Because when you use rewards to initially pay for anything earning additional rewards, you will spend less each time!
Basically, there IS a way to shop for everyday items at Pharmacies and still save money. With a little understanding, you can save big!
