Everyone has their favorite and unfortunately every single one has a pretty large price tag on it.

The cost just adds to the torture since laundry is the never-ending chore. I was in need of a cheap homemade laundry detergent.

That’s one reason why I wanted to come up with a cheaper and faster way of making detergent that actually worked.

But it had to be super fast to make. And every recipe I saw on how to make DIY liquid laundry detergent involved cooking things on the stove. Who wants to spend time cooking detergents and slaving over the stove? Not me.
