Spritz Butter Cookies

If you’ve never tried to make Spritz Butter Cookies, this is the year to try them!

When my husband and I got married, his mother gave us a cookie press as a gift much like this Cookie Press by Wilton.

Included in the instruction booklet was this simple recipe for Spritz Butter Cookies. It seemed easy enough, so we made some for our first Christmas together as a married couple. We haven’t missed making them a single year since then.

Oh my goodness…they are SO melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

Sometimes the most simple things are the most delicious. This classic butter cookie recipe is among our family’s favorites. I think your family will love them, too!

And about that Cookie Press? It’s still going strong all these years later! It certainly was a great gift!

Use any tip from a Cookie Press.

My kids love it when we add food coloring to the Spritz Butter Cookie dough.

Then we pick out one or two of the shape disks from our Cookie Press.

We add sprinkles for decoration and even an M&M or two to our Spritz Butter Cookies. 🙂
